Growing up in southern Missouri, outdoor life has always been a passion of Ian’s. He attended College of the Ozarks, a work study college, located in Branson, MO where he worked for the College’s Landscaping Department for 4 years and earned a degree in Agriculture with an emphasis in Agronomy.  After earning his degree, Ian moved to Wisconsin to spend time with extended family.  His experiences, strong work ethic, leadership skills and perseverance he developed in the early stages of life readied him for his new adventures ahead.

 

After working his way up from an entry-level role, through multiple leadership roles and eventually into a senior leadership role in just under 18 years at the same company, Ian had an opportunity to follow his roots, passion and entrepreneurial spirit and purchased Sharper Image Lawn Care.  During his tenure, Ian learned and developed many skills to prepare him for this transition, including excelling at customer service, effective communication, enhancing the employee experience and leveraging systems, technology and data in decision making.

 

Ian’s core values and motto to “do the right thing” are cornerstones and lay the foundation for the growing company today and into the future.  His work ethic, dependability, trustworthiness, perseverance and focus on employee success will lead to building this great company to partner with as a client and to work at as an employee.

 

As a small business owner and entrepreneur, life and work are constantly intermingled.  During his free time, Ian enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two kids, golfing, fishing, and cooking meals from scratch.
